Alaska Vape Events Calendar

Updated: May 29, 2026. AK Vape News tracks adult-only vape, smoke-shop, cannabis-vape, tobacco-policy, and adjacent counterculture industry events that matter to Alaska retailers, adult consumers, and ad networks.

Alaska Marijuana Control Board Special Meeting re: AO360

Location: Alaska AMCO public meeting process, check state notice and AMCO documents for access details.

Why it matters: This is not a vape expo, but it belongs on the calendar because Alaska cannabis-vape retailers, manufacturers, and ad networks need to watch board action that can affect licensing, compliance, enforcement, and public-facing claims.

June 23-25, 2026

CHAMPS Trade Shows, Chicago

Location: Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Hall F, 5555 N River Rd, Rosemont, Illinois.

Published hours: Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.

Alaska angle: This is a major B2B counterculture, smoke-shop, glass, and vape-adjacent buying event. Alaska shops should treat it as a sourcing and compliance trip, not just a product hunt. Ask every vendor for authorization, age-gating, shipping, battery, labeling, and invoice documentation before taking a show deal seriously.

Price note: CHAMPS listed hotel blocks at $209 per night for Embassy Suites Rosemont and $199 per night for DoubleTree Rosemont, plus taxes, with a June 5, 2026 deal end date. AKVN is recording that as travel context only, not a booking recommendation.

June 24-25, 2026

Alaska Marijuana Control Board Regular Meeting

Location: Alaska AMCO public meeting process, check AMCO documents for agenda, attendance, recording, and public-comment details.

Why it matters: Cannabis-vape menus, concentrate manufacturing, retail transfer items, enforcement reports, and license renewals can all surface in board packets. Adult cannabis-vape coverage should watch these meetings even when the agenda is not obviously vape-specific.

August 2026

August 26-28, 2026

CHAMPS Trade Shows, Las Vegas

Location: Las Vegas Convention Center, 3150 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Published hours: Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Alaska angle: Las Vegas is usually easier to reach from Anchorage than many East Coast shows. This is a useful buying trip for hardware, glass, batteries, packaging, accessories, and smoke-shop categories, but Alaska retailers should be especially careful with show-floor discount claims, unauthorized ENDS claims, and shipping commitments.

Price note: CHAMPS listed Resorts World rates of $95 per night Sunday through Thursday and $195 Friday and Saturday, plus a $50 resort fee. It listed Tuscany Suites at $69 Sunday through Thursday and $179 Friday and Saturday with no resort fee. AKVN records this only as organizer-published travel context.

August 26-29, 2026, verify date range before travel

CHAMPS Glass Games, Las Vegas Qualifying Rounds

Location: CHAMPS Las Vegas event track.

Alaska angle: Glass Games can matter for Alaska smoke-shop accessories, artist glass, dab rigs, and concentrate-adjacent retail. The CHAMPS Glass Games page lists Las Vegas qualifying rounds as August 26-29, while the main Las Vegas show page lists August 26-28. AKVN flags that difference so readers confirm with CHAMPS before booking.

September 2026

September 4-5, 2026

World Vape Show South America

Location: Santiago, Chile.

Alaska angle: International shows can reveal device trends before they hit U.S. distributors, but Alaska retailers should not treat foreign-market availability as U.S. authorization. Use these events for trend watching, not automatic buying.

September 15-17, 2026

InterTabac 2026

Location: Dortmund, Germany.

Alaska angle: InterTabac is broader than vaping, but it can signal tobacco, nicotine, pouch, retail-display, and harm-reduction product direction. Alaska businesses should separate international trends from Alaska/FDA compliance.

September 16-18, 2026

World Battery & Energy Industry Expo 2026

Location: Guangzhou, China.

Alaska angle: Batteries sit underneath pods, mods, disposables, chargers, and shipping risk. This event is not a vape expo, but battery supply, cell quality, and logistics matter to Alaska shelf pricing and safety.

September 21-23, 2026

Global Tobacco & Nicotine Forum

Location: Brussels, Belgium.

Alaska angle: GTNF is a policy and industry forum. Alaska vape ad networks should watch topics around nicotine authorization, youth appeal, illicit markets, and retailer responsibility because those themes travel back into U.S. and state policy debates.

October And November 2026

October 13-15, 2026

CHAMPS Trade Shows, Austin

Location: Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, Texas.

Published hours: Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.

Alaska angle: A fall CHAMPS stop can be useful for retailers planning winter inventory, but Alaska buyers should build shipping lead time, cold-weather battery storage, and product-documentation checks into every purchase decision.

November 11-12, 2026

White Label World Expo London

Location: London, United Kingdom.

Alaska angle: White-label shows are useful for spotting packaging, private-label, fulfillment, and ecommerce trends. Alaska retailers should be cautious with private-label vape products unless authorization, labeling, testing, adult-only advertising, and import records are clear.

November 17-19, 2026

CHAMPS Trade Shows, Fort Lauderdale

Location: Broward County Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Published hours: Tuesday and Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.

Alaska angle: This is a late-year trade-show stop for retailers thinking about first-quarter inventory, accessories, and vendor relationships. Watch for freight terms, battery handling, age-restricted marketing materials, and misleading “legal everywhere” product claims.

AKVN Event Listing Rules

  • We list adult-only vape, tobacco, smoke-shop, cannabis-vape, policy, compliance, and adjacent product events when there is a public source.
  • We do not list youth-oriented events, school events, unlicensed cannabis sales, underage-access events, or private events that cannot be verified.
  • We label B2B shows, public meetings, cannabis events, and trend-watch items differently so readers understand what they are looking at.
  • We do not sell tickets, products, nicotine, cannabis, or event access.
  • Paid event listings must be clearly labeled as ad-network-supported before publication.

This calendar is general event reporting for adults 21+. It is not legal, travel, tax, regulatory, medical, purchasing, or investment advice. AK Vape News does not sell nicotine, tobacco, cannabis, vape products, accessories, tickets, hotel rooms, or travel packages.

May 31, 2026 Update: Local Alaska Smoking, Consumption, And Policy Event Watch

Source check time: May 31, 2026, 4:09 p.m. EDT. AK Vape News is adding this local watch section because readers need to know the difference between a public event, a licensed on-site consumption venue, a cannabis-adjacent conference, and a normal festival where smoking or vaping may be banned. This section is adult-only event reporting, not an invitation to smoke or vape anywhere that is not legally permitted.

Verified Alaska Consumption Venues To Watch For Events

Good Titrations, Fairbanks: Good Titrations publicly describes its Merhar Avenue location as a store where adults can shop its product line and use an on-site consumption cafe. AKVN is adding it as a recurring local watch source because Fairbanks consumption venues are one of the few Alaska contexts where adult cannabis consumption and local events may overlap legally. Readers should verify age rules, hours, event dates, product rules, and consumption limits directly with the venue before going. Source: Good Titrations, accessed May 31, 2026.

The Tufted Puffin, Kenai Peninsula: The Tufted Puffin describes three Kenai Peninsula locations, including Seward and Soldotna, with a cannabis cafe, lounge, coffee/tea component, and regular music/community events. AKVN is adding it to the local watch list because this is exactly the kind of source adults may search when they ask where cannabis-friendly events are happening. Readers still need to verify the specific location, event date, age rules, consumption rules, and whether smoking/vaping is allowed for that event. Source: The Tufted Puffin, accessed May 31, 2026.

Fairbanks venue cluster: Alaska Current reporting on Anchorage cannabis-cafe policy noted Fairbanks examples, including Pakalolo, Good Titrations, and Good Cannabis, as on-site consumption stores. AKVN is treating that as a local lead list, not a final event listing. We will only add specific comedy nights, music nights, product education sessions, or consumption events when a public source shows the date, host, location, and adult-access rules. Source: The Alaska Current, accessed May 31, 2026.

Anchorage Warning: Not Every Cannabis Social Event Allows Smoking Or Vaping

The same Alaska Current report said an Anchorage cafe plan moved forward after the Anchorage Assembly voted down a smoking/vaping route for retail shops. That is a useful caution for readers: a cannabis-adjacent event, wellness event, concert, or cafe may still prohibit smoking and vaping. AKVN will not list an Anchorage event as a smoking or vaping event unless the source clearly says the venue and permit structure allow it.

Local Policy Dates Added To The Calendar Watch

  • June 9, 2026: Anchorage Assembly marijuana license and special land use permit meeting date shown on the revised 2026 schedule.
  • July 7, 2026: Anchorage Assembly marijuana license and special land use permit meeting date shown on the revised 2026 schedule.
  • August 18, 2026: Anchorage Assembly marijuana license and special land use permit meeting date tied to a June 4, 2026 cutoff date on the revised 2026 schedule.
  • August 8-9, 2026: Arctic Visions 2026 in Anchorage, listed as a psychedelic science, mental health, Indigenous knowledge, and visionary culture conference with cannabis among the wider subject matter. This is not listed as a smoking event.

Sources: Municipality of Anchorage 2026 revised marijuana license/SLUP schedule and Arctic Visions 2026 ticket listing, accessed May 31, 2026.

How AKVN Will Handle Local Smoking Event Listings

  • We will list a local smoking or cannabis-consumption event only when the source shows a date, location, adult access, and legal venue context.
  • We will not tell readers to smoke or vape at parks, concerts, street fairs, smoke-free events, hotel rooms, rental cars, or private businesses unless the event source clearly says it is allowed and lawful.
  • We will separate licensed consumption venues from ordinary cannabis-friendly culture events.
  • We will continue checking Fairbanks, Anchorage, the Kenai Peninsula, Juneau, Mat-Su, and rural event sources weekly.

May 31, 2026 Scope Update: State Hearings Count As Events Here

AKVN is broadening this calendar so readers can track more than expos and meetups. A public hearing is an event if it touches this site's beat: tobacco, nicotine, vaping, electronic smoking products, cannabis, marijuana licensing, smoke-free rules, public consumption, enforcement, taxation, youth-access rules, advertising limits, cessation funding, or retailer compliance.

That means the calendar now watches Alaska Legislature committee hearings, Alaska Online Public Notices, AMCO and Marijuana Control Board meetings, Anchorage marijuana-license and special land use permit meetings, municipal assemblies, city councils, agency public-comment periods, procurement deadlines tied to tobacco/nicotine cessation, and regulator meetings where cannabis or smoking rules may move.

Current Government Hearing And Public-Notice Watch

  • June 3, 2026: Marijuana Control Board special meeting regarding Administrative Order 360, virtual via Zoom, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Alaska time. Source: Alaska Online Public Notice 223847, accessed May 31, 2026.
  • June 18, 2026: Alaska Tobacco Quit Line RFP deadline. This is a procurement deadline rather than a hearing, but AKVN is tracking it because it directly affects statewide tobacco and nicotine cessation infrastructure. Source: Alaska Online Public Notice 223722, accessed May 31, 2026.
  • June 24-25, 2026: Marijuana Control Board regular meeting in Fairbanks, beginning at 9:00 a.m., covering marijuana establishment license applications, enforcement matters, ongoing/proposed regulations projects, and other board business. Source: Alaska Online Public Notice 223849, accessed May 31, 2026.
  • SB 24 status: Alaska's tobacco/nicotine/e-cig age and e-cig tax bill has moved past the May 11 House Finance public-testimony hearing and was reported as approved/enrolled in late May. AKVN will track any follow-up state action, implementation rules, public notices, or retailer deadlines. Sources: Alaska Legislature SB 24 bill page and Alaska Public/Alaska Beacon SB 24 report, accessed May 31, 2026.

We will not list every generic government meeting. The item needs a clear connection to adult nicotine, tobacco, vaping, cannabis, smoking rules, public health, licensing, taxes, or enforcement. When the connection is indirect, AKVN will label it as a watch item instead of implying that a hearing is vape-specific.
